Yappee has got to be one of my fave new apps out there because it is so easy to use, and there are some great recommendations on there! You can review/read about favorites not only with locations and services, but brands as well.

Its like a review network mixed with a social network — which is awesome because we all have those friends who have yummy taste in something or another, right? — Well, this is a way to check out those people/places/things and why they love ’em!
