A Weekend Getaway at Fajitas on Fiesta in St. George
I cannot believe it has been a whole month since John and I got married…but more on that later! It was such a fun wedding and we had a great honeymoon, which is what brings me to todays blog post!
After John and I got married we took a long break and headed off on an epic road trip where we drove through St. George, Palm Desert and Newport Beach. It was so fun to have such a wide variety of experiences and just relax. Since we planned our own wedding, we were both up to our ears in DIY tasks and last minute details on top of prepping for our humanitarian trip to India, and our normal day to day. So needless to say that once the wedding was over, we both just kind of unplugged and took a breather.
One of my favorite parts of our trip was our stay at my friend Jeff’s vacation rental in St. George called Fajitas on Fiesta. The place is HUGE and it’s brand spanking new, the kitchen was a total dream. The community also has a killer pool, hot tub and the house itself is located right on the edge of St. George and only 30 minutes from Zion National Park.
John and I had big plans of hiking Angels Landing and buzzing around the town, but we honestly ended up grabbing a bunch of groceries and enjoying pool + hot tub hangs, home cooked meals and on the few occasions we were feeling adventurous, a night out at the movies.
All in all I was super happy for such an amazing and cozy place to recharge my batteries, and can’t wait to head back down again with some friends, since the place sleeps 12, I would love to do a weekend getaway since it’s such a great price and it’s just a hop, skip and a jump from Salt Lake City.
If you are looking for a great place to land in Southern Utah that is close enough to all of the action, but still has all of the comforts of home (including wi-fi), make sure you check out Fajitas of Fiesta!
