The moment I saw legwarmers were starting to make their way into my social feeds this winter I knew I had to dig mine out of the closet. They are something I bought roughly 5+ years ago because I love the whole balletcore aesthetic, but they have been collecting dust because I wasn’t ever really sure how to style them.

Then earlier this week I found the perfect ballet pink wrap skirt from REVOLVE to pair them with and everything just came together. The trick is to lean into the trend but to add unexpected elements that take them from costume-y to street worthy. In this case, I opted for a thin knit bodysuit, a pair of fuzzy earmuffs, a faux leather quilted puffer jacket that I have had in my closet forever, and some super sparkly accessories.
