WallflowerWhen I got to Frankfurt with my family we rented cars and headed to the Old Country to see the relatives. On the way there we drove through the city and stumbled across this amazing block of graffiti art. I was so excited I immediately asked if we could stop to take it all in! What I loved about this neighborhood is that it was littered with tall trees, green grass and charming houses. Though graffiti can often be deemed a dirty word people here embrace it as art.

There is something to be said about unexpected juxtapositions. In fact, that is what Chic & Disheveled is all about. Finding ways to make opposites attract. For this look I combined flirty florals with some tough leather which adds an element of the unexpected. It may seem like common sense to dress head to toe in soft tones, or edgy tones but not both. For me, I enjoy finding ways to make different elements work together.

Next time you go to your closet why not try it? You never know you may stumble across something that feels so wrong…that its just right!
