Traveling more has been one of my biggest New Year’s resolutions for 2014, so I was really stoked when a good friend invited me to tag along for a long weekend in Rocky Point. Having never left the country I wasn’t really sure what to expect but couldn’t wait to pack!

We stayed in a really amazing resort in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora and spent most of our time at the beach. One of my favorite parts of the weekend was when we took a day trip to soak in some local sights at the wharf. My outfits primarily consisted of swimsuits, cover-ups and sandals but it was fun to throw some personal style in here and there!

I’ll post the outfit details from the trip over the next few days but I at least wanted to share some of the pics with you now! I had a great time shooting the local scene with my Nikon, and really want to thank my friends for all of their help snapping my #OOTD pics! All in all the trip was really amazing and I cannot wait to go back!
