Chic Outfits: Leopard Print + Camel

Camel is such a classic color to rock in the winter – it has a luxe vibe and elevates pretty much any look without trying too hard.

Aside from a camel coat which is rarely needed here in San Diego, a camel turtleneck is the perfect essential to add to your wardrobe and can be worn year round and with a multitude of options. In the winter, I love pairing it with black skinnies, or a pencil skirt, and in the summer it looks great causally thrown over a pair of cutoffs when it gets chilly at the beach.

I have been searching for the perfect option for awhile, and should have known Banana Republic would have the answer – this lightweight knit turtleneck is a piece I scored during their 40% off sale during their huge sale a few weeks back, and LOVE IT! The chevron detailing, and lite weight of the fabric make it the perfect layering piece.

From straight leg denim, to white skinnies, and black skinnies to pencil skirts – a camel turtleneck is the perfect piece to pack on a work trip because you can easily take it from day to night.

Since camel has such a luxe vibe, a great way to dress it down is via edgier pieces like leather, or leopard print which all play very nicely together – espeically with a red lip for a night out!

For this look, I opted to pair my fave black distressed skinnies with a frayed hem, with some pony haired leopard print pumps, and a leather jacket which still looks pulled together, but doesn’t make you feel like have to mind your manners around the clock.
