Happy Father’s Day! For those of you who are lucky enough to spend the day with your Dad I hope you are having a great time today and really enjoying each other’s company! Since my Dad lives back home in Utah, I happily chatted with him over the phone while I made our favorite Chocolate Chip Sugar Jumbles!

Do you ever have certain items in your home, or even a song you hear that reminds you of your Dad? For me, aside from the Webster’s Dictionary that helped me improve and expand my vocabulary it was the First Edition Betty Crocker Cookbook that my dad would always reach for on Sunday mornings.

I distinctly remember being able to set the book on its spine and having it open up to either Pancakes, or Sugar Jumbles because we made them so much! In honor of Father’s Day, I wanted to share my Dad’s fave recipe from the Betty Crocker book. They are really quick to make, and the finished product is AH-mazing (especially when you add chocolate chips)!

One of my fave parts about baking is using my Grandmother’s apron, she made it herself (Here a few fun options in case you don’t have an apron just yet)! Enjoy the last hours of your weekend, and always…

Stay Stylish,

XOJ
