Chemise.

Don’t ask me what it is about nightgowns, but I absolutely freaking love them! When I was little, I would love getting sick because my Oma would wrap me up in her best chemise and send me off to bed with a warm cup of Chamomile tea, and a fresh rose from her garden. These days…I wear them as dresses — no, I’m not kidding.

I scored this ‘lil black lace number from Free People the other day, and could honestly care less that it came from the ‘intimates’ collection. It is a soft crepe-like material which is perfect for heat, humidity, travel, sitting at your desk…oh, and sleeping. You virtually never have to take it off if you don’t want to! #winning
