I am saying it more and more…the more I travel to Cabo, the harder I find it to leave. The energy of the people, lush landscape, and incredible cuisine is such a sensory overload that I was wondering around in a state of constant euphoria. This time, the trip was to celebrate the launch of the magazine I work for, InMexico. I planned the whole party, which was a lot of work so to see it all come together was so exciting!
I had a bunch of party materials to bring this trip so I needed to pack lite (not ideal words for a Fashion Blogger). Its funny because somehow I still manager to fit 4 different pairs of shoes in my suitcase…but at the ended of the trip, I realized I really only used one pair, my Soludos. They are uber comfy and went with everything I wore — duly noted for trips down the road.
The weather on the trip was much like San Diego, so I wore a mix of lightweight dresses throughout the week and most often just tossed on my fave faux leather jacket from Forever 21 when I got cold.
As fate would have it, I finally got to check out Drift Boutique Hotel during my stay, and I ended up meeting an amazing jewelry designer and creator of the line Calexico. Her pieces are AH-mazing and I couldn’t wait my necklace on the second it got it, her line can be found at @soycalexico — deff worth a look, all handmade, and super durable! I love how she incorporates stones into each piece!
Happy to be back home in San Diego with the pup, and settling back into my day to day routine at the gym. Excited to share pics from the trip with you, hope you enjoy the pics as much as I like taking them — I definitely get some side way glances from peeps in the process! #touristmode #sorrynotsorry
