While I was abroad I took my Nikon D3100 with me everywhere, personally I don’t think you need to be a ‘professional’ photographer’ to enjoy taking pictures…just think of it like you would instagram!!! I find that taking photographs is an amazing way to revel in all of the beauty the world has to offer, and it is a great way to express your point of view and get creative.

I didn’t really have a theme in mind when I created this photo-journal, I just kept my camera slung over my arm and snapped away when the mood struck. To personalize my camera and add a touch of style, I took a chain from one of my old handbags and repurposed it as a strap.

All in all I think I caught some really cool moments on the trip that will always remind me of my first trip to Paris!  I hope you enjoy viewing them as much I enjoyed taking them. I totally caught the travel bug and am already planning my next trip to another distant land, in the mean time I am thuroughly enjoying time with my pup and sleeping in my own bed.
