The Color to Add to Your Wardrobe Right Now
The color Mustard has never been one to hog the spotlight, but it really should.
From spicy mustard to saffron the hue has a very sophisticated yet retro vibe to it. It also looks great with multiple skin tones making it a safe bet when exploring new colors to wear. I found this cute crochet smock from Shein.com and thought it was the perfect piece to add into my wardrobe for the summer and even into the fall.
The sleeveless cut is perfect to pair with denim cutoffs, black suede mini skirts and easily transition into the fall where I can layer under it with thin gauzy turtle necks and pair it with skinny jeans. Since it was my first go-round incorporating mustard into my look, $10.00 seemed reasonable, espeically with all the cool crochet details!
I took the look to a more retro vibes with palm printed platform sandals and fringe raw hem jeans from Topshop and kept things summery with my Talk to the Palm round bag from Skinny Dip.
I have rounded up some really awesome mustard-colored pieces that are super affordable and easy to wear, make sure to check ’em out below. You can also shop my exact look at the end of the post!
xx,
Jess
