Why Pink is the New Black

Mean girls may have started the whole ‘pink thing’, but Tumblr sealed it with a kiss. Pink might just be the new black and has no signs of giving up its 15 minutes any time soon. Personally I’m tickled pink (*ba dam bum tssss*) because it just makes everything from sunglasses to wallpaper, for lack of a better word, er – cuter. Plain and simple. Rose gold, quartz, rose quartz. rosé – every shade is a winner.

It is surreal how easily it fits into a minimalists wardrobe too. It pairs perfectly with destroyed denim, softens a tough leather jacket and looks fab-u-lous with a tan. Sold. So needless to say I have been adding pops of pink into my life well, everywhere! In fact, I maaaaay have painted my front door to yummiest cotton candy color last month (sharing that post soon) when I moved into my new place. #lovingit
