Hey everyone! Today we are talking about one of my favorite holidays, Halloween! If you’re like me and love to play dress up, but hate the idea of wasting tons of money on a costume you’ll only wear once, and are trying to things a bit more sustainably…this blog post is for you! Today I am sharing three costumes you can easily recreate using what’s already in your closet or by shopping second hand at places like SFgoodwill.org! Not to mention each costume is full of pieces you can wear again and again!

The first look is Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s which is one of my favorite old-school movies, and an iconic look that was already hanging in my closet. You can easily recreate this costume by taking a little black dress, and pairing it with a trench coat, then accessorizing it with a tiara, a pair of long black gloves, cat eye sunnies sunnies, and a pearl necklace – don’t forgot the classic Holly Golightly coffee and a croissant and you’re good to go!

The second look was inspired by the 70s which is one of my favorite eras in fashion! If you love jumpsuits as much as I do this Studio 54 look is super easy to recreate! Simply pair it with some platform sandals, retro sunnies, layer on the bangles and grab your favorite statement earrings. If you live in colder climates like I do, you can also top the look off with with a faux fur coat! Faux fur is one of my favorite things to thrift for and you can find some amazing pieces that will become instant classics in your closet.

The third look is for all of my witchy women out there who love a more traditional halloween costume (not to mention The Coven from American Horror Stories). You might recognize this black lace Free People dress that I scored at SFGoodwill.org last month from my video on How to Thrift Like a Pro! The bell sleeves and lace details made it the perfect dress for my witch costume. I paired it with a black cape, feather adorned witch hat, some spider web tights, stiletto booties and then to complete the look I accessorized with some bewitching statement earrings and a black sparkle lip.

I have also linked shopping details for my looks below! xx
