This past week has been such a whirlwind ya’ll! On less than a weeks notice, I made the split second decision to head to Cabo for my birthday and Valentines Day to really unplug for some RnR.

If you have been following my journey on Instagram for awhile you’ll know that more often than not I fly to Cabo and work the whole time, leaving me very little opportunity to see the sights. Well…not this trip! Horseback riding, a sunset cruise, yoga and spa treatments…I had a lot of firsts this trip that made for such amazing memories.

Before I left, I was chatting with a galpal of mine and she mentioned she was heading to Cabo this weekend as well and didn’t have a clue about what to wear. As we talked about fun outfit options, I leveled with her that as much fun as it sounds to pack elaborate outfits on a trip like this (which I have done…believe me), I would often kick my perfectly planned outfits to the curb and revel in the freedom of vacation mode.

When on vacation I have found that it is often the effortless essentials that I find myself repeatedly mixing and matching and today I am sharing a few of my absolute faves. The minimalistic sandals that go with everything day or night, the oversized scarf that can morph from a shawl to a skirt in a moments notice. – tried and true basics that play well together and that I can throw on and go spend my time enjoying making memories rather than carefully curating ensembles…it must be the disheveled in me. 🙂
