San Diego Hat Company is without a doubt, my fave hat company – I literally live in my wide brimmed black floppy concho hat, because it goes with pretty much everything!

I also love that the company is locally grown, and it certainly doesn’t hurt that their hat selection is off the chain!

You  need the perfect black wide brimmed hat? No problem. You need a furry monstrosity to rock at some festival? Look no further! Going to Del Mar for the races? They have just the feathered coif topper. Catch my drift?

Another cool thing is they offer hats for all ages, and for men and women which is great! I got my niece some really cool sun hats for the summer! BTW – don’t let the “hat” part of the whole equation fool you – they do bags and other fun accessories too!

So needless to say, when they contacted me to shoot their Fall collection at Leo Carrillo Ranch, I was stoked! If you haven’t been to Leo Carrillo Ranch, you need to pack a picnic and head to Carlsbad…like right now, right now.

It has peacocks (or as I learned “peafowl” LMAO) roaming the grounds which are beautiful! Super rustic, with a huge wall of succulents, old stables, and just acres of serenity. They had this serene looking pool that was the perfect shade of blue that just beckoned for you to take a dip, I never wanted to leave!
