The $8.00 Yellow Shirt that Will Look Good on Everyone

Yellow has never really been my color, or so I thought…then it started to creep into my closet one piece at a time.

It started with an accordion shirt my fiancee John picked out for me, then a marigold pearl button dress followed suit. Pretty soon…I had a whole section of yellow smiling at me every morning when I woke up, and to be honest, I kinda like it!

If you are new to yellow (like I was up until this season), it can seem like a realllllly bright color, espeically if you are used to wearing neutrals like black white and denim. If you are looking to add some sunshine to your life, a great place to start is Marigold. It is such a flattering hue on all skin tones, so you don’t have to worry about looking washed out.

One of my favorite pieces I added to my wardrobe this season is this tie-front yellow pearl tee from Shein.com. I love the tie front detail because it dresses down the pearl embellishments and looks great with denim shorts for a more casual OOTD, but also dresses up nicely if you want to take it up a notch. Plus did I mention it’s only $8.00?! Can’t go wrong!
