Layers are a great way to take a look from basic to brilliant in no time–especially when you mix in a variety of textures. The length and versatility of this shag vest from Stroll in San Diego easily makes it one of my fave picks for the Fall, because you can pair it with practically everything.

I found this really fun pair of OTK boots for $150 bucks and have been playing with different ways to wear them. Since tunic lengths have been everywhere I decided to try one out via this fun earth toned frock. I probably wouldn’t do this look without the vest unless I wore skinny jeans or tights underneath, but the vest adds enough coverage to make things fun without getting too frisky.
