When Mandy Moore shrieked that she ‘hates pleated skirts’ in Because I said So, I highly doubt she had seen the array of fabulous options that are available these days! From floor grazing boho styles to fab printed and pleated mini skirts there is sure to suit ever girls style. They are the perfect option to add a hit of demure to any outfit and are anything but ‘back to school.’

As you know black & white is one of my all time classic combinations year round so when I saw this fab skirt vintage shopping I had to have it! The length grazes just above the knee so I don’t look like I am off to play a round of tennis. Because of its high waist it looks great when paired with a cropped top, and also looks awesome with a summer tan.

Even if certain items…like pleated skirts…give you flashbacks to an era that may not have been your fave, don’t discount their updated ancestry just yet! Try them on for size, you never know when something might suit your style and surprise you!
