When taking Brooklyn out for a stroll these days I couldn’t be happier that spring is in the air! While I love shopping not everyone seems as thrilled with the idea of dressing rooms and changing up their wardrobe. This is why I like to challenge myself to mix up what I already have in my closet! When the weather starts to shifts I either add or shed layers depending upon the season.

I wear this camouflage jacket from Urban Outfitters with everything from leather leggings to sundresses depending upon what the weather calls for. It is light weight enough that it can be layered over with a jacket or worn over a sundress when the weather is warmer.

This dress from H&M is sleeveless and looks great either with tights and a leather jacket in the winter or bare legged in the spring/summer. That can be said of a lot of skirts and dresses, sweaters and jackets. Hunter Wellies are one of my favorite purchases because they are somewhat all terrain and so fun in the rain/snow! They look great with everything from jeans to dresses! (Brooklyn likes puddles so they are functional too!)

Challenge yourself to look at your winter wardrobe in a new light, different accessories like a lightweight scarf and bare legs and sandals can change up a winter dress in a snap! Leather leggings look great with a cool new sleeveless top and heels and some sunnies.

As you add new pieces into your wardrobe remember that you can play off of the color schemes you already have hanging in your closet to help yourself coordinate outfits easier as well!

Stay Stylish,
XOJ
