Mix Master // Mixing Multiple Prints
First and foremost I want to thank each and every one of you who read my blog! I have just been nominated as a finalist for the “Battle of the Blogs” which is a competition created by Arizona Foothills Magazine highlighting bloggers in the Arizona community. While I hope to reach all ends of the Earth with my message of Signature Style I cannot thank the local community enough for their unwavering support in helping me get to where I am today!
Voting is unlimited and the contest runs through July 28th so please take a moment and cast your vote!

Now for the fun stuff…When I go to the closet every morning it can be really tempting to grab the same comfy T and cutoffs or maxi dress, throw it on and go. That being said…dressing is also our way of telling the world who we are without having to utter a word (whether we mean for it to or not). Since I like to have fun both in life and with what I wear I like to challenge myself everyday to think creatively and pair things that I have never worn together.
Prints are huge this season, but one of my new favorite things to do is take prints to another level by pairing prints on prints. This may seem like a huge challenge but in all reality it is a fairly simplistic philosophy…pretty much anything goes! One of the easiest ways to start is to search for items with a similar color pallet. This pleated skirt has hints of pink which are the same hue as the blouse I am wearing. Do they ‘match’ in the conventional sense of the word? Heck no! But in the fabulous world of print mixing they do!
This is one of the biggest reason you will hear me say again and again to be mindful when adding items into your closet. If you stay true to a color family you are fond of your options for mixing and matching will continue to grow!
I hope you all have an amazing day and thank you all for reading!
Stay Stylish,
XOJ
