Seeing Stars.

The 4th of July is right around the corner and I am doing things a little differently this year!

Normally I would be scouring vintage shops and my fave boutiques for the perfect red, white and blue outfit to express the perfectly balanced amount of patriotism while still remaining stylish…but then, this black and white start shirt happened. #lifechanged

I have wanted a shirt like this ever since I saw Erin Wasson sitting in her perfectly disheveled NYC apartment in ELLEments of Personal Style – and then I discovered this sheer number at My Sister’s Closet while I was dropping off last seasons threads – and for $9, score (don’t worry, I got you covered, shop some of my fave alternatives below)!

I paired it with my favorite denim cut-off’s, because c’mon – what could be more American than a pair of Daisy Dukes?! I found this acid-washed pair at Forever 21 and am literally obsessed, they fit like a glove and were seriously like $20!

For accessories I decided to go with my classic mirrored aviator’s with Ray-Ban, some MINT by Noel arm candy – and last but certainly not least, two of my favorite new additions to my wardrobe! This Rebecca Minkoff satchel is the perfect size to make transitions from day to night, and the whip stitch and rich black leather are delicious! The other latest addition is my Verão Sandals, they are so simple and so comfortable I haven’t been able to take them off since I got them!
