Black lace has such a romantic feel to it, so when I saw this backless black lace romper from Stroll Boutique in Little Italy, I knew a. I had to have it, and b. it was going to be on frequent rotation.

First off, I love that it touches on multiples trends like flowing bell sleeves, and cutout detailing – yet still manages to pull off a classic appeal. Secondly I love that it’s versatile AF.

Since I got this romper, I have worn it to events, and dates (both coffee and with a man come to think of it), but its’ resilience during my trek through Los Cabos that I find rather impressive.

When I vacation in Cabo, I literally never pack heels – it is always flats and sandals, but as fate would have it, I had just picked up these Vince Camuto booties, and have been living in them ever since.

You can imagine my surprise when  I ran to my hotel room to clean up after exploring the town, and found that these booties paired just as well with this romper as my sandals would. In fact, I really like the juxtaposition of the delicate lace, with the weathered leather – so fun and unexpected.

Since I was on a roll with trying new things, I didn’t want to take away from the gorgeous neckline of the romper so I opted to tie my new Nashelle choker around my wrist instead and love wearing it that way now!

If you are local to San Diego, don’t forget to check out Stroll Boutique’s 2 year anniversary party, its this Saturday and the perfect stop after a morning at the Farmers Market! Super excited to celebrate Katie and her awesome boutique, she has the cutest stuff!
