Fall Florals with Make Me Chic.
To be honest, if you had asked me my thoughts on florals a few months back (regardless of the season) I would have told you very plainly, that I thought they belonged in a vase. Period.
It wasn’t until recently that I began to blossom into a new appreciation for floral prints, which I can pretty much attribute to this dress from Make Me Chic. Here’s how it all went down…I was scrolling through their site looking for yet another LBD, when I discovered this long sleeved dark blue (almost black), and white floral dress – complete with cutout detailing, and I stopped scrolling dead in my tracks. Could this black on black wearing minimalist adopt feminine-ish florals?
As I mentally ran through my wardrobe, I could see this dress with ankle boots and my fave San Diego Hat Company floppy hat, OTK boots and a leather jacket, or with opaque tights and a stacked boot – and that is just in the Fall months. This dress could easily take me around the globe because it doesn’t wrinkle, and will go great with sandals, or wedges in hotter climates.
I have a rule, if I can mentally style a piece with a minimum of three ways with items already in my closet I buy it (especially when the dress is $26.00). So needless to say, I added to my cart and upon arrival it has quickly been added into the rotation.
It is super comfy, but a bit oversized, so to avoid looking like a walking floral tent, I reel it in with a belt.
If you are looking for a place to try new trends beyond the more mainstream options like H&M or Forever 21 – Make Me Chic is a great option! They are constantly having sales and offer free shipping on orders over $30 or more.
