When I was in college I was obsessed with Roman history, everything from the Colosseum to mythology I couldn’t get enough! One of the things I love most so far about Europe is how many of these ancient ruins remain today. I can’t help but marvel at their completion in times where cranes and forklifts were nonexistent. After a really nice lunch at Cafe Jules my family and I walked around town and drank in the sights.

I couldn’t wait to wear my new skirt from Clothes Minded Boutique, the black white and yellow are a fresh combination and I love the window panel striping. There is something about stripes that speak French to me so I made sure to pack accordingly. Mixing stripes can sound like a fashion accident waiting to happen but what I have found is that if you vary the patterns, directions and widths of stripes they can actually play quite nicely.

After a quick stop in Disneyland Paris, I am off to Germany where I will finally get to meet some of my long distance relatives, I cannot wait to learn more about my heritage and see the towns my grandparents always spoke so fondly of.
