Greetings from the beehive state! Can I just say holy sh*t balls peeps – moving takes waaaay more out of you than I remember! My bad on the week long radio-silence but I totally needed some time to nest in my new place and just BREATHE after all was said and done. Now that my lil’ mini vacay is over, I’m stoked to be back in front of the computer to share todays outfit post with you.

Spring is in the air and as much as I love wearing black on black on well…black, it can feel a little well depressing to wear when flowers are blooming everywhere. So to avoid looking like I just left a Johnny Cash convention I searched for some fresh takes on my fave color. First off, I am totally digging the whole fishnet craze that is happening right now which is why I had to have this fishnet cropped hoodie from Shein, it is the perfect mix of sporty and edgy and will look just as great over workout gear as it will dressed up a bit with a more tailored look like I am wearing in this post, oh and it was only $12 so that pretty much sealed the deal.

Now lets talk about these floral cropped pants…I know, I know…florals for spring, groundbreaking – but seriously, they are SO comfy and instantly dress up a look. I love the pockets and piping detail along the seams of the pants. They sit high on the waist which makes them perfect for crop tops, and tucking in tops, plus the slim fit is super flattering. Normally I wear a small in Forever 21 clothes but I wanted them to feel loose and comfy so I sized up. BTW – did I mention that they are under $20?!

When it comes to trends, I am a huge advocate for testing the waters with less expensive pieces before blowing your whole wad on something you aren’t 100% sure on. I got both pieces I am rocking in this look for under $30 and both are super versatile so I can wear them with a majority of what is already hanging in my closet. #winning
