The Bacon Bootie + Other Shoes to Add to Your Collection This Fall

The other day I was shopping for new shoes to add to my collection in preparation for my first Winter back in the 801, when I stumbled upon these black booties with a really cool silver heel. Typically I don’t go for mid-calf boots (because I am short) but the futuristic heel beckoned me to try them on. It was then that I saw the bootie was called Bacon, and who doesn’t love bacon?! #loveatfirstsight.

I was a bit nervous I wouldn’t be able to find ways to wear them but have found they fit seamlessly into my wardrobe. Plus, they look great with so many fall trends; wide-leg cropped raw hem denim, midi-skirts, mini-skirts – tights, no tights…you catch my drift. If you haven’t even tried on a pair of mid-calf booties this season for fear of looking stalkier, throw caution to the wind and give ’em a go.
