Brunch is literally my favorite meal of the day, and I consider it a utter travesty that it only comes once (or twice) a week! I mean, your best babes, a reason to bring your off-duty OOTD A-game, snapchats and flatlays galore not to mention eggs benny and endless bubbles — basically, its heaven on Earth.

This past week I headed to La Jolla to grab some brunch at Cody’s with the bestie so we could catch up since I had been in Mexico for an eternity {real time: 1 week}. BTW, everything at Cody’s is delicious and it is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing brunch. They have a great ambience both indoors or out on their patio, plus they allow dogs! Make sure to check out my Yappee profile for other cool spots I have found around town!

Anywho about this outfit…I have been on a total black + white kick for a while now so these Soludos sandals have been the perfect addition to my wardrobe and are sure to carry long through the summer. I have already road-tested them in Cabo and they passed with flying colors!

This striped dress has been in my arsenal for awhile. It has become one of my faves because of the fun hi/low hemline and the open sides, so breezy and fun — perfect for San Diego on a warm day (and makes a great pool cover in a pinch).
