(Easy) Silhouettes.

In the Spring, it can be such a challenge to dress for the weather because it changes its mind more than I do at the Cheesecake Factory. My way to combat this tricky sitch, is lightweight layering basics in a variety of textures and lengths.

Currently, I am obsessed with this longer sleeveless trench-style vest from Preston Fox. Vests like this offer a chic minimalistic option for some extra coverage when you rock those short-shorts and sundresses in Spring/Summer months. I went for the khaki-olive blend option, but they also have this gorgeous slate-gray option that is still haunting my dreams — and at $29, I’m contemplating just going for it.

The other cool thing about a classic piece like this? It is virtually seasonless and will pair with just about any color (and anything) in my closet. Shorts and dresses now — and skinny jeans, pencil skirts and trousers in the Fall/Winter. #winning!

In other news…I am slowly breaking out of my Ray-Ban Aviator only mentality — but only because I keep dropping them, stuffing them in my gym bag…dropping them again…losing them surfing {who wears sunglasses surfing…especially when they suck?! LOL} and so on. Enter the Forever 21 Sunglass Department, in under 1 minute I had found 3 killer pairs of shades for under $20. Problem Solved!

If you noticed the new arm candy in this post, first off…YAY! It is part of my “Get Lost.” collaboration with the #girlboss duo at MINT by Noel that is launching the Spring. I cannot tell you how excited I am to share this with you guys, and for the opportunity to co-design jewelry inspired by my trips to Mexico with the @topofmex team. It was a lot harder that I thought it would be and have mad respect for these ladies — we went back to the drawing board a few times until we got it just right.

Can’t wait to share the whole collection — but for now here is a sneak peak of the stacked bracelet complete with pineapple and get lost charm (Eeeee!), would love to hear your thoughts! <3
