It doesn’t matter if you are a guy or a girl, I am pretty sure we all strive for a nice stomach! What many people may not realize is that in order to achieve maximum definition you have to do more than sit ups. To start on your six-pack (and no we aren’t talking Stella) you will need to vary your workout with a variety of exercises and watch what you fuel your body with.
For starters lets talk about the hardest part…diet. Sugar is the enemy, it converts to fat. We have all heard it, but how many of us actually live accordingly?! One suggestion I have is to actually download an app like My Fitness Diary and keep track of what you are eating.
You may think your diet is top notch because you eat lean proteins like chicken with a side of rice…but if you are eating white rice, I hate to break it to you but it is actually processed and to quote Chip the director of Core Concepts at Mountainside Fitness ‘you may as well be eating cotton candy.’ Try cutting all processed sugars, trust me you will notice a difference!
Now for the fun part…workouts! Throw on your fave gear (I currently am loving Chin-Up apparel tanks) and try my ab blaster routine, I guarantee you’ll feel it!
