As you may already know, I side step trends and only buy something when I can truly see myself wearing it and really liking it regardless of if its ‘in’ at the moment. So when items (in particular luxury or designer items) come around that peek my interest I really take some time in weighing out our future together. If I can see us living happily together for roughly 10+ years and never wanting to part, I’ll bite. When in doubt I pass and rarely regret it.

Needlepoint is one of these such items. I ran across the D&G Miss Sicily Satchel that debuted F/W 2013 and loved the idea but would not spend upwards of $3,000 to achieve it. So put this item away in my mental pinterest board in case I ran across something that strikes me the same way.

Just so happens that this weekend for President’s day, I took a jaunt up to Prescott with the bestie and found a vintage needlepoint framed bag in perfect condition for $45! I love how easily it incorporated into my wardrobe and even though its not designer, its still just as dope!
