Chic Essentials // Shades of Grey
Grey is one of my all time fave colors, even though Webster’s begs to differ calling it ‘the absence of color.’ Because it is smack dab in the middle of White and Black it is a great neutral option that often goes without due credit. A splash of grey goes great with Navy, Plum, Coral…you get the idea, pretty name a color and you will find that grey is a suitable option.
When Topshop x Nordstrom announced their collaboration with Kate Moss to introduce a follow-up capsule collection I wanted to make sure that I selected items with some serious staying power. While I love the fringe dresses, rompers and boho pieces, I feel that those items are not nearly as chameleon capable as less ornate items like this iridescent silver and grey front tie blouse.
When I tried this top on I immediately fell in love and saw our future together! From cutoff shorts, to pencil skirts and skinny jeans to trousers I knew we would be very happy together for a very long time! I first fell in love with front tie shirts several years ago when I stumbled upon a black option and found it to be the perfect balance between masculine and feminine without being to obvi.
Make sure you check out Nordstrom.com for the complete Kate Moss for TopShop collection and snag a few pieces while you can!
