The All-Weather Outfit to Rock Through the Holidays

The other day I was taking a cold hard look of what is hanging in my closet to see exactly how screwed I am considering I’m about to face my first real winter in more than 10 years. Having come from Southern California I have a multitude of crop tops, cutoff shorts and pants with holes in them…ruh-roh.

It was then that I stumbled upon my high-waisted pleated midi skirt and it sparked the inspiration behind my new favorite Fall/Winter uniform. The midi-skirt sits just high enough on my waist so it pairs perfect with crop tops and only exposes a sliver of skin to the elements. I bought this midi-skirt earlier this Spring so I have been rocking it with sandals and sneakers, but for the Fall I have been pairing them with my over the knee and slouch boots for a more sophisticated vibe (and to keep my feet from getting frost bite).
