Sheer clothing has been everywhere this spring, from Parisian runways to the hottest celebs people can’t seem to get enough!

When it comes to wearing the latest trends, there is definitely a fine line between runway and reality. Call me cray, but freeing the nipple a la Lanvin might not be work a work appropriate way to go. Today, I partnered with Shein.com to break down the sheer trend with three different outfits that will get you noticed (for all of the right reasons)!

no. 1

THE SHEER KIMONO

First off, Kimonos are just plain AH-mazing! You can wear them as a swimsuit cover, as a light duster-style jacket, as a layering piece…you catch my drift. They are versatile AF and they just add style points to pretty much any outfit. I love this sheer lace option from Shein.com because at a whopping $15, it is super affordable and well made. I love the rope belt that comes with it, but it looks great without it too. Fun and flowy this pieces offers great coverage for those short shorts and is uber feminine.  It also doesn’t take up much room which makes it a fun piece to tuck into your tote for travel or to banish off the chills caused by an unforgiving offices A/C.

SPORT MESH HOODIE

Sporty pieces are my fave! I am constantly in the gym so it is awesome to find pieces that reflect both fashion and fitness with finesse. This see-through fishnet top from Shein.com does just that with flying colors. It looks great over leggings and a sports bra or paired with more feminine pieces like these floral pants to give an outfit some edge! Another cool thing about this piece is that it is loose enough that it can easily layer over long sleeved T’s or dresses to give your look some dimension.

ZIPPERED SHEER LACE CROP TOP

This crop top from Shein.com is one of my new fave pieces of clothing! It comes in white and black sheer lace and has a really cool zipper detail in the back…or front! It was so funny, I went to rock this piece one day and could not for the life of me reach the zipper in back because my arms were so sore from a workout. Given that I am single and live along my only option to help me was my dog Brooklyln…ruh-roh! So instead of changing outfits, I got the idea to wear the top backwards and use it as more of a jacket than a top. It was insane how many compliments I got from people and I couldn’t wait to share the crazy circumstances that led to my discovery. As a cropped jacket or crop top this piece pulls double duty like a pro!
