A huge thank you to adidas for sponsoring this post so I can share all about their new sustainable collection!

Nothing makes me more excited than sharing sustainable brands with you guys, I guess it just feels super good to highlight people that are taking the time to do things right. So today I am introducing a new series called Living Sustainably where I will share brands that make it easier for us a.k.a. the busy AF consumer, to make more sustainably conscious and eco-aware purchases.

One big change I have noticed as I have begun my journey into living a more sustainable life, is that my habits are no longer driven by the “most popular option”. Instead, they are motivated by what “the most natural/organic/sustainable” options are.So when my friends ask me how to start shifting into a more sustainable way of life, what I am about to tell you is number one. Being aware of what all of the options are is the best thing you can do.

By taking 5 seconds to Google sustainable alternatives you can discover some amazing new brands to try that are better for not only you, but the Earth. This has become one of the first things I do when considering a new purchase decision. It takes some time at first, but its time well spent. I have discovered soooo many rad brands this way, and the quality of the products are so next level.

Speaking of next level, I am SUPER PUMPED to kick things off with a really cool new recycled capsule collection by adidas and the yoga lifestyle brand, Wanderlust. For starters, adidas has been a brand that I’ve adored since grade school. It started with soccer cleats and white/baby-blue Superstar sneakers…then fast forward to now and its Ultra Boost’s and Stan Smiths (okay, okay and white on white snakeskin Superstars). Wanderlust is all about finding your true north, and their way of life and sense of community is truly inspiring. So needless to say that when I hear that brands that I have always adored are making serious moves in the sustainable space, it makes my heart sing!

The adidas X Wanderlust Fall/Winter 2018 collection is inspired by Mother Nature and made of recycled materials. Its creators wanted each piece to allow women to channel the power of community, whether it be in the gym and or on the city streets. The concept of community, espeically among women is such a great message. That being said, from a strictly stylistic standpoint, if it ain’t cute, I’m realistically not going to wear it, right?!  So it still had to pass the test of life in the disheveled lane.

So after road testing these threads at spin + yoga classes at Maven Strong,  coffee meetings and work lunches, plus a weekend at the Bonanza Music Festival, I can say that these pieces are perfect for the girlboss on the go. I love that the The Aquamarines and teals used in the pieces I chose, they are super flattering on my skin tone and remind me of nights spent at the hot springs in Utah. That being said its a tough call to make, because I also have my eyes set on some of the the fierce rusty reds pieces from the collection because they channel the red rocks of Zion.

Today I am sharing 3 of my faves from the collection that I will be rocking all summer long (and into the Fall).

Sustainable Shopping:

The adidas X Wanderlust Collection

The All Me Wanderlust Bra – shop here.

I was sold when I saw the color of this tank top! It looks good with a minimalistic color palette which totally describes my workout wardrobe. I love the 3 stripe detail and the cute straps, plus it keeps everything in place during everything from spin and yoga to HIIT and boxing circuits.

The Wanderlust Tank Top – shop here.

I love a good workout tank, and this turquoise and teal wanderlust tank top is super cute, and shows off your summer tan! Its just long enough that you can knot it for more shape, and the low-cut sides show off a cute sports-bra!

The Believe This High Rise Wanderlust Tight

These leggings are super fun because they have a really minimalistic geometric pattern that instantly elevate your normal black tight, into a work of art! I love the high-rise cut because it looks great with crop sweatshirts outside of the gym and is super flattering too!
