Exploring the Unbeaten Path in Cabo San Lucas

Super stoked to share a fun vlog with you from my trip to Cabo San Lucas.

I love staying at the Bahia Hotel and Resort, in Mexico I literally know more than half of the staff by name, and it has become my home away from home in Mexico.

After having been to Cabo more than a dozen times in the past year and half, I thought there was nothing I hadn’t tried until Roodi, my videographer from Roodi Zuhair Films, and partner in crime on the trip insisted we go to Wild Canyon on something called the ‘sling swing’, I remember thinking to myself, hmmm….that sounds mighty suspicious.

First off, I am terrified of heights…secondly, its called the sling swing – but I gotta hand it the the team at Wild Canyon, once you get on the bus there is no turning back – and after you enjoy a bus ride into desert laden terrain with some other really fun people who are also destined for the same fate, you have a chance to enjoy a drink (or two) before you pick your poison.

Honestly the wild adventures didn’t stop there my friends! This trip was full of firsts, once we conquered the sling swing – which, FYI is literally a harness where you are released into a free-fall before swinging into a gorgeous canyon – we headed out for Stand Up Paddle Boarding with the crew from the really cool new SUR Beach House the next day, and I tried my first cliff dive – okay, okay as you can see in the video it was more of a flail but the way I see it, if things start out perfect, you got nowhere to go!
