Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I don’t know about you…but gift giving can be hard! So today I am sharing ideas to help inspire you with a round up of gifts that are at the top of both mine and John’s list! There are gifts at all price points, but remember…don’t stress yourself out too much trying to find the perfect gift, it’s truly the thought that counts. I’ve bought gifts for John already but I have a great personalized gifts idea that I need to sort out soon. Valentine’s Day gifts don’t have to be expensive and I would much prefer a cheap, thoughtful gift than something expensive.

I. Am. Going. To. Be. Organized.

Boticca has a great little section which makes it simple to find the gift that you want. Gifts for him, gifts for her, even decide on your price range, or go for something personalized. The website, as you may remember, collects unique jewelry and accessories from talented designers around the world. You can find such special pieces on the site, so without further adieu, here are some of my current favorites for the special ladies in your life…

x1. Rita Box Clutch by Alexandra De Curtis. This is such a great clutch, and even cooler, it’s made from Salmon skin, making it totally sustainable, but also super hip.

2. Amethyst Cushion Drop Earrings by Nikki Baker. Forget cocktail rings, spice up your evening party look with these fabulous cocktail earrings. They come in a variety of colors. I hope my cousins are not reading this post, because they are getting these earrings.

3. Foxglove Scarf from Sabina Savage. I love this pattern. I want to pair this with black leather skinny jeans and a white t-shirt, but I am also thinking this is a great mom or mother-in-law gift option.

4. The Bailey Tie- Red & Tan Bicycle Silk Scarf by Terracotta New York. I love this scarf, and even though it is winter, this scarf could definitely be worn all year long!

5. Le Cannes Talk Python Bag by Dareen Hakim. Oh geez. I just love this bag. The hand-chisiled brass metal is simply amazing. Who doesn’t love a little chic winter white in their life?

6. London City Skyline Necklace by Mona Mara. I want to give this to all my ex-pat lady friends out there. This is so cute. Rita Ora has has one, so I want one too.

Valentine’s Day Gift Guide – for her

MY V-DAY WISH LIST

  1. I love the new book from Stone Fox Brides that spills all about unconventional weddings. Since I recently got engaged, wedding planning has been at the forefront of my mind! So fellas if your recently got engaged, or ladies if your bestie is planning her walk down the aisle – this is an awesome gift!
  2. The Vacay Mode collection from Londontown is the perfect way to get ready for that romantic weekend getaway so surprise her with a cozy air bnb stay somewhere fun + a little nailspo to give her a head start on packing!
  3. I am Organic is the sh*t! Their body oil is AH-mazing not only at keeping skin hydrated, but as I pleasantly found out the other night…its great for massages as well (thanks babe)! Check out their line, its vegan and non toxic plus it smells like heaven!
  4. Dyptique is at the top of every girls list, I mean they make the best candles ever! I love their rose scented candles and roses in general (flowers, fist, macrons), so when they came out with a perfume solid in their classic rose scent that looks chic and uber portable it was love at first sight.

Valentine’s Day Gift Guide – for him

JOHN’S V-DAY WISH LIST

  1. John is a total tech guy (and I hate wires) so the wireless charging station from Samsung is a total win-win!
  2. I recently discovered Cotopaxi during their Questival tournament. They have so many amazing (and well thought out products) from backpacks to outerwear – total geargasm!
  3. John and I are both patch obsessed! They are such a cute way to customize and personalize everything from baseball caps to denim jackets – here is a cool and unique set I found on Amazon.
  4. John is a massive fan of all things League of Legends, so when his best friend told us that you can buy LoL accounts from sites like unrankedlolaccounts.com, I knew right away that I needed to get him something gaming related. If your beau is a gamer then there are loads of things you could get for him. Why not buy lol smurfs for him so that he can have a winning League of Legends account, or if he wants something more exciting then he will LOVE virtual reality. It takes all of his favorite games to a whole new level and puts him in the computer (…and yes I typed that with a Zoolander voice).
  5. When in doubt, play to the sense of humor! Sometimes a new pair of socks is just what’s needed (the things get worn out so fast), and after a little digging, I’ve found this site that lets you customize your own socks from photos. There’s plenty of potential for silly little jokes, and John is a cheeky guy at times. Plus you can’t argue with the shipping time. With that in mind, he may get a laugh out of getting a pair with some choice selfies printed all over it!
