Chic Outfits: Stripes + The Little Black Jumper
There is a very fine line between minimalistic style, and a fashion rut.
While I adore my lived in Joe’s Finn frayed hem black denim – when a clean cut pair of black skinnies starts to fray, they get the boot (or get altered).
Make a mental note – a true lived in basic look better with age, not worse. ie. a leather jacket vs. your LBD
As I was getting dressed the other day, I realized that I had literally donated most of my bottoms – and had created the ultimate capsule collection consisting of 2 pairs of denim, 3 pairs of black pant ranging from distressed to high-waisted and skinny, and an assortment of summer/ San Diego essentials like a black leather, sequin skirt and a few pairs of denim cutoffs.
What to add? That is when I saw this really cute black midi jumper from StyleWe – I have been wanting to try the midi length, and I love the fact that it is a jumper which adds an unexpected twist to an otherwise plain option.
The little black jumper is a mix between Parisian chic, and American grunge and can be styled with everything from stripes like I am wearing in this post, to a much more irreverent statement T, or crop top.
